A team of researchers from the University of Louisville will outline an upcoming study into potential environmental hazards to residents in Western Kentucky.
The team led by Dr. Luz Huntington Moskos, Director of the Community Engagement Core for the Center for Integrative Environmental Health Services at UofL, will speak to the public on Thursday night in Grand Rivers. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Grand Rivers Community Center.
Moskos and other researchers will discuss their plans to examine human health concerns, air monitoring, wastewater sampling, and impact on wildlife. UofL said they want to inform residents about concerns raised within the community about what they refer to as "potential environmental exposures in the area."
The public is invited, especially those living in Marshall, Livingston, and McCracken Counties.
