Two of the city of Murray's warning sirens failed to work during a recent quarterly test.

The Murray Ledger and Times reported this week all of the sirens worked with the exception of the ones located on Glendale Road and Riviera Court.

Calloway Emergency Management Director Josh Kerr said the two sirens were ones they have had problems with in the past.

Those sirens are owned by the city of Murray and Murray Police public infomation officer Capt. Andrew Wiggins said the city has a warranty on the sirens and is currently waiting for the manufacturer to send parts to fix them. It's not known when the parts will arrive.

In addition, the one at Riviera Courtr is being moved to a new location adjacent to the north Community Federal Savings Bank once electricity is to that location.  The new location will help that siren's coverage further north.
