Two sent to hospital after Graves County crash

Two people were injured in a crash Saturday evening just north of Mayfield.

Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded to US 45 North at the intersection with KY1241.

Deputies said 62-year-old Judith Hogancamp of Bardwell struck a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Giban Arellano of Graves County, with both vehicles ending up in the median. 

Hogancamp and Arellano were both transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of possible injuries. 
 
During the investigation, it was revealed that Hogancamp’s operator license was suspended for a prior DUI offense.  Hogancamp was also found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and alcohol at the time of the collision. 

Hogancamp's charges included wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and DUI with aggravating circumstance.
