Two arrested in Lone Oak Road traffic stop

Two people were arrested Saturday following a traffic stop on Lone Oak Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the stop occured at Hardee's when a vehicle was noticed driving erratically.

The operator of the vehicle, 44-year-old Marissa Timmons of Paducah,was suspected to be under the influence and failed several field sobriety tests.

A passenger, 52-year-old Jerrie McFarland was also taken into custody after methamphetamine was found in the car.

Both were taken to the McCracken County Detention Center.
