Two men injured in I-169 traffic accident

Two Calhoun men were injured in a Monday morning traffic accident.

Christian County Sheriff's Deputies told WKDZ a vehicle operated by Kody Render was southbound at the 27 mile marker on I-169 when he fell asleep and hit the back of a tractor trailer.

Render's vehicle crossed the median and went into the northbound lanes before stopping.

Render and a passenger, Elijah Knight, were taken to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment, while the driver of the truck was not injured.
