Family owners of Trees n Trends announce closing of all stores

The family owners of Trees n Trends posted over the weekend that they are closing all six store locations after more than thirty years in business.

The Wallace family opened their first location in Paducah in 1992 under the name of Silk Tree Factory.  Their product line consisted of greenery, wreaths, and a variety of trees that they manufactured.

As their product line grew, they changed the name to Trees n Trends, and added locations in Jackson, Tennessee; Henderson and Bowling Green, Kentucky; Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and Jonesboro, Arkansas. At one time a store was also located in Franklin, Tennessee.

In their social media post, the Wallace family wrote, “A heartfelt Thank You to our customers, our employees, and our family all of whom have made our journey of the last 30 plus years possible!”

According to the company’s Facebook page, owners say they will close the stores over the next weeks and months.

They thanked their customers and their employees, many who worked for more than 20 years.
