Two arrested with drugs at Calvert City hotel after disturbance report

A report of a disturbance at a Calvert City hotel resulted in drug arrests for two people.

Police were called to some type of altercation at the Days Inn in Calvert City. What they found was no disturbance at all, rather they allegedly located drugs in the room. Following the investigation, both occupants of the room were charged.

Officers arrested 21-year-old Kayla Alexis Hessler of Memphis and charged her with cocaine and marijuana possession. They arrested forty-year-old Shane Allen Hoffman of Grand Rivers as well, reportedly also charging him with cocaine and marijuana possession.
