Two Calloway County men were arrested in separate instances Friday on drug and other charges.
The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said detectives with the Calloway County Narcotics Division arrested 58-year-old Paul Jackson of New Concord after an investigation determined he was in possession of one-half pound of methamphetamine, 1.5 ounces of cocaine, a quantity of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia indicative of trafficking.
At the time of his arrest, Jackson was out on bond following a May indictment by the Calloway County Grand Jury for receiving stolen property valued at over $1,000. Jackson is in the Calloway County Detention Center.
Also arrested was 42-year-old Justin Hanks of Almo on charges of drug related offenses following the completion of an investigation that began in October.
Hanks is currently incarcerated at the Calloway County Detention Center on a parole violation warrant for theft-related charges. He has been convicted of drug related charges over three times, dating back as far as 2013.
