Special Judge Jack Telle, of Paducah ordered Acree serve two years probation, and pay a $500 misdemeanor penalty and court costs.
The agreement reduced charges down from third degree terroristic threatening and fourth degree assault.
WKDZ reported that Tuesday’s decision was negotiated between special prosecutor Jason Darnall of Marshall County, defense attorney Ken Haggard, Lake Barkley State Resort Park and Crystal Smith, who recently entered a guilty plea to amended charges and was probated for her role in a 2022 burglary of Acree’s home.
Should Acree later violate the terms of the settlement, he will be remanded into custody for a period of no less than 12 months in a county jail.
