According to WKDZ, Trigg-Lyon Firefighters were called for a fire in a wall. At the scene on Trigg Furnace Road, they found the attic of the home engulfed in flames.
The owner was able to escape uninjured, but the home is considered a total loss.
Authorities say that some pets at the home are unaccounted for.
The East Golden Pond and Montgomery Fire Departments were also called to help extinguish the blaze.
