A traffic stop ended with the arrest of a wanted Paducah man on Tuesday.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said a deputy stopped a vehicle Tuesday after reportedly witnessing moving violations.
The driver of the vehicle, Joe Nathan Carter of Paducah, was found to have an outstanding warrant for failing to appear, which stemmed from a 2023 indictment for drug charges.
Carter was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine after being taken into custody.
Carter was charged with the traffic offenses, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was served with the outstanding warrant.
