A Tuesday traffic stop in Murray sent four people to jail on drug and other charges.
Calloway County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Reymon Hamilton on Hayes Avenue in Murray. Hamilton was reportedly not authorized to use the vehicle and was also driving on a DUI-suspended license.
One of Hamilton's passengers, 31-year-old Erica Galloway of Murray, was wanted on a meth possession charge. The other passengers, 32-year-old Mariah Reed of Hardin and 38-year-old Shawn Reeves of Murray, allegedly were in possession of methamphetamine. The amount, deputies said, was consistent with trafficking and that they could have charges increased.
Galloway was arrested on the warrants while Hamilton was charged with driving on a DUI-suspended license, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and possession of meth. Reed and Reeves were each charged with meth possession.
All four were taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
