Tour downtown Columbia Theater during Barbecue On the River

This weekend during Barbecue On the River, you can also take a tour of downtown Paducah's Columbia Theater as a fundraiser for its proposed renovation.

It's part of ongoing efforts by the organizer of the event, Columbia Art House, to help match $500,000 pledged by the City of Paducah to begin work on the 1927 landmark for future use to host entertainment and cultural events.

The tours will be conducted on Friday evening from 5 to 8 and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Tours will be scheduled on the hour with a maximum number of 20 guests for each tour. Tickets are $20 with accompanied children under 12 free.
