Three people were arrested for drug offenses Friday in the Farley community.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s detectives said they saw 37-year-old David Campbell at a local business on Oaks Road and knew he was wanted on a warrant for drug possession. Detectives arrested Campbell in the garage of the business. During the arrest, they reportedly located a bag of methamphetamine in his pocket.

A female, 37-year-old Mary Dixon of Calvert City, was also located in the garage. Dixon was allowed to leave.

Detectives searched the garage and located approximately 20 grams of crystal meth inside a bag that belonged to Dixon.

Detectives located Dixon and 32-year-old William Walker in the 700 block of Oaks Road nearby. When deputies approached the couple, Walker became confrontational and attempted to distract detectives while Dixon fled on foot. Dixon was located hiding in the backyard of a residence and arrested without further incident.

Campbell was charged with possession of meth. Dixon was charged with trafficking in meth and fleeing or evading police. Walker was charged with resisting arrest and hindering prosecution.
