Three Tennessee residents indicted by Caldwell grand jury

A Caldwell County grand jury returned indictments against three Tennessee residents in connection with their arrests in August.

WPKY reported Nathan Dale Jeffery of Ashland City was indicted on trafficking in a controlled substance, involving methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance involving mushrooms; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jeffery was also indicted on public intoxication, theft by unlawful taking under $500 involving shoplifting, and second-degree criminal mischief.

Clarksville residents  Nathan B. Henson and Ashley M. Warhurst were indicted on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, involving methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance involving mushrooms and possession of drug paraphernalia. Complicity was also listed as a basis for the indictments.

The charges stem from an incident on or about August 11th, when Princeton Police officers responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint.
 

The investigation determined Jeffery went into Walmart, opened packages of electric hair clippers, and damaged the merchandise. 

He then allegedly took an electric razor past all points of sale, left the store, and got into a car with Tennessee plates.

A Caldwell County deputy later stopped a vehicle matching the description on Highway 62 West.  During the traffic stop, authorities said they found about 52 grams of meth, about seven grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, and a glass pipe.

All three were taken into custody and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
