Thompson named interim director of Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Paducah Convention and Visitors Bureau's board of directors announced in a resolution Wednesday that Mark Thompson will serve as acting manager of the CVB's daily operations.

Thompson replaces Mary Hammond, who died on March 3rd. He will fill the role until a new executive director is selected. 

Thompson has previously served as interim city manager for the City of Paducah and interim executive director of the Senior Citizens Center. He has 20 years of experience as director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Paducah.
