Texas man charged with DUI after Caldwell crash

A single-vehicle crash in Caldwell County Saturday led to the arrest of a Texas man on a DUI charge.

According to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office, a deputy called to Farmersville Road found a pickup truck sideways in the road, with debris scattered across the area.

The driver, 52-year-old Eric Morris, of Monahans, Texas, became aggressive with the deputy during the investigation. Morris was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
