Tennessee pair arrested on drug trafficking charges in Benton

A pair from Tennessee was recently arrested in Benton on drug trafficking charges.

Benton police said that they learned that suspects from Tennessee were headed to Benton, with the purpose of selling drugs.

Officers located the suspects' vehicle on West 13th Street, and they were taken into custody. 

The driver, 21-year-old Charlette I. Turner of Martin, and passenger, 22-year-old Joseph White of Memphis, were charged with trafficking in meth and cocaine.
