Tennessee man injured in moped crash in Mayfield

A Tennessee man was injured in a moped crash in Mayfield on Saturday.

Mayfield Police were called to North 7th and East Lee Street for a report of an injured person, later identified as 36-year-old Russell Massengill II of Knoxville. Massengill was reportedly headed north on 7th Street when he clipped the sidewalk, causing the moped to go down. He is said to have hit his head on cement as he fell. In addition, Massengill had cuts and abrasions.

Massengill was treated at the scene before being taken to Baptist Health Paducah for further treatment.
