TVA moving water through Kentucky Dam

The Tennessee Valley Authority has been moving water down the river system after heavy rains and storms over the weekend.

Kentucky Dam, known as TVA's Mightiest Dam, has been spilling 1.4 million gallons of water per second.  

Kentucky Dam helps reduce flood damage on six million acres of the lower Ohio and Mississippi rivers and reduces the frequency of flooding on another 4 million acres.
