A suspect in a Mississippi shooting was arrested in Paducah on Thursday night.
Paducah Police received an alert through the Flock Safety Camera System about a vehicle registered to a person wanted in Mississippi. Officers found the vehicle in the parking lot of a local business. Inside the business, they located the registered owner, Rashodrick Harris, of Waynesboro, Mississippi.
Harris was found to have an active arrest warrant for aggravated assault stemming from an investigation in Laurel, Mississippi involving the shooting of University of Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy. (see AP story in our sports section.)
During a search of his vehicle, officers located a small amount of marijuana.
Harris was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the McCracken County Jail charged as a fugitive from another state.
