While the severe weather threat is nowhere near what it was last night, there is still a slight risk of severe storms today for much of western Kentucky.
Scattered thunderstorms are possible across the region, and a few may be severe with damaging winds and large hail. The highest threat will be toward the Kentucky Pennyrile and southwest Indiana from late this morning into the afternoon.
Heavy rain is a concern with the possibility of more than two inches across parts of western Kentucky which may cause some flooding issues.
