The Southern 7 Health Department's mobile health services van will make the rounds across southern Illinois in July.
The Wellness on Wheels van will visit each of the counties to provide health screenings and other services, including free NARCAN training.
Free services include blood pressure readings, colorectal cancer tests, medication disposal packets, and COVID-19 vaccines.
Blood lead, hemoglobin and cholesterol screenings, STD tests, HIV, pregnancy, TB skin tests, and well water tests will also be available for a fee.
On july 6, the van will be at Whistlers & Whittlers Senior Center in west Vienna from 10 am until 12:30, then at Sunshine Inn Senior Center at Harvest Church in Anna from 1:30 pm until 4 pm.
July 13, then van will make an appearance at the Metropolis Fire Department from 10 am until 12:30 pm and Big John's Grocery from 1:30 pm until 4 pm.
The van will make a trip to the University of Illinois Extension in Dixon Springs on July 20 from 10 am until 4 pm.
Services are covered by most insurance carriers and available while supplies last.
