Benton residents arrested on drug and other charges

Several Marshall County residents were arrested Wednesday at a Tubbs Road residence.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said they went to serve a bench warrant on 61-year-old Roy E. Jones of Benton for failure to appear in court.  While at the residence, deputies located other suspects with active warrants along with illegal drugs.

Deputies also found a minor as the residence who had direct access to methamphetamine.

Others were arrested were 46-year-old Roy Marchand, 30-year-old Kimberly Stevenson and 46-year-old Julie Driver, all of Benton.  Several drug related offenses were noted in the arrests with Jones, Driver and Stevenson also charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
