Smithland pair face drug charges after search of home

Two Smithland residents were jailed Friday after authorities said a search uncovered meth.

Deputies searched a home on Wilson Street and reportedly found methamphetamine. Officials belive the pair were involved in drug trafficking.

Thirty-three-year-old Donald Hannan and 31-year-old Kailey Watkins were both arrested.

Hannan was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, while Watkins was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
