A flood warning will be in place to our north along the I-64 corridor from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches could produce runoff that may result in flooding of rivers, creeks and other low-lying, flood-prone locations.
The evening or overnight storms will be more likely to form into organized storm lines.
The most recent models have trended drier for Sunday afternoon, but a few afternoon storms can't be ruled out.
The primary hazards will be damaging winds, especially in the organized storm lines; and large hail inside the isolated storms.
A few tornadoes can't be ruled out.
