Slight risk of severe storms Thursday afternoon

Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms is possible Thursday afternoon and evening.

The greatest risk of severe storms (level 2 out of 5) will be over western Kentucky between noon and 8 p.m.

The primary hazards will be damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall.

Southern Illinois will see a marginal (1 out of 5) risk for severe storms.
