Sinkhole closes road in Trigg County

A sinkhole has developed in the middle of KY 272/Caledonia Road, between Cliftwood Drive and Glenwood Mill Road in Trigg County.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said neighbors reported a new bump in the road, over the weekend. Then, this morning, the sinkhole opened up. The hole is described as being about the size of a small car. 

That segemnt of the road will remain closed until further notice. Engineers will assess the hole and create a repair plan, later this week.
