Single vehicle crash turns into alcohol charges for Gilbertsville woman

A single-vehicle crash resulted in alcohol charges for a Gilbertsville woman.

Marshall County Sheriff's deputies were called to the crash on Moors Camp Highway Friday. The driver, 32-year-old Ashley Rushing of Gilbertsville, was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. An open container was also said to be found in the vehicle. 

Rushing was charged with driving under the influence, open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, and not being in possession of a driver's license.
