Single-vehicle crash injured one, damaged power pole

A single-vehicle crash in eastern McCracken County damaged a utility pole and injured the driver.

The crash happened just after 6:20 a.m. on Wednesday along Oaks Road just north of the I-24 overpass. McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies said they believe Jensen Duncan was driving a northbound Dodge Durango when he ran off the road and struck a utility pole. The pole was damaged, and Paducah Power was called to the scene to replace it.

Duncan suffered some minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
