An Indiana fugitive was arrested Tuesday after a pursuit through McCracken and Ballard Counties.
McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies reportedly tried to stop a motorcycle accused of speeding along McKendree Church Road at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The driver, identified as 34-year-old Kevin Brantley of Evansville, refused to stop and sped up in an attempt to flee. Brantley is said to have continued at high speed into Ballard County before stopping.
Brantley was arrested and charged with fleeing and several traffic violations. A computer check revealed he was a fugitive from Indiana, where he was wanted on drug and gun charges.
