The crash happened at about 9:40 p.m. on Thursday along KY 121 near Fred Road. Graves County Sheriff's deputies believe that 16-year-old Kaleb Byars of Dexter may have fallen asleep at the wheel. Investigators said that Byars' vehicle crossed the northbound lane,hit multiple trees and rolled over after striking an embankment.
Byars was taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center with minor injuries.
