A seven-month drug investigation led to the arrest of an Eddyville man last week.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said that Sheriff Brent White made the arrest of 53-year-old Michael S. Conger of Eddyville on Tuesday afternoon. Complaints of drug trafficking prompted the investigation, which led to Conger. Conger was indicted in Lyon Circuit Court and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, along with possession. He was also charged with being a persistent felony offender.

Conger was taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
