Coleman Road back open after scooter crash injures rider

A serious crash on Coleman Road in Paducah on Thursday morning shut down that corridor for almost three hours.

The crash happened just after 8 a.m. when a vehicle and a motor scooter collided near the intersection of Coleman Road and Coleman Crossing. Paducah Police and Paducah Fire responded, along with EMS.

The rider of the scooter suffered serious injuries, prompting police to conduct a collision reconstruction. There has been no official word on the condition of the individuals involved.

The reconstruction was completed and the road reopened just before 11 a.m.
