Senator: MSU veterinary school measure could face opposition

Kentucky Senate Agriculture committee chairman Jason Howell said legislation establishing the Murray State University veterinary school could face challenges in that chamber.

According to WKDZ, Senator Howell said the Senate Education Committee began discussion on the bill last week after it passed the House.

Howell said opposition to the measure appears to be with Senate leadership, but says he will continue work to get the bill passed by the end of the current General Assembly session.
