Calloway County sheriff's deputy Jody Cash, who was fatally shot in the line of duty in 2022, is among two dozen Kentuckians honored in the annual road naming resolution by the state Senate.
The Senate unanimously adopted Joint Resolution 58 on Thursday honoring deceased Kentuckians who have served or made a notable impression on the commonwealth. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will place signs at each designated highway or bridge.

Cash, a Princeton native, was chief deputy with the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office when he was tragically shot and killed in the line of duty on May 16, 2022, in Marshall County.
