Caldwell County man gets 25 years on federal child pornography charges

A Caldwell County man was sentenced yesterday to 25 years in federal prison for multiple child pornography charges.  

According to court documents, 50-year-old William Guill was sentenced to 25 years in prison, followed by a life term of supervised release.

Guill's charges stem from for four counts of sexual exploitation of children, one count of distribution of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography, and one count of transfer of obscene material to a minor. 

Guill reportedly recorded himself engaged in sexual acts with two minor girls. He also used an online social media application to distribute child sexual abuse material and send nude images of himself to one of the minors.  

Guill was also ordered to pay $6,000 in restitution to victims.

There is no parole in the federal system.
