Semi cleared from median of I-69 in Marshall County

The northbound lanes of I-69 in Marshall County were blocked for over an hour Thursday by a semi stuck in the median.

The semi attempted to make a U-turn at one of the emergency crossovers close to the US 641 Spur south of Benton. The truck was unable to complete the turn and got stuck. Both northbound lanes were blocked until a wrecker got the truck out of the median. 

Detouring around the incident was a problem because a repair project underway along KY 58 between Mayfield and Benton had that route blocked.
