Semi crash closes Said Road in the Reidland area

A crash involving a semi forced the closure of Said Road/KY 131 in Reidland, just south of Benton Road.

The truck ran off the road and struck a tree and utility poles, according to reports. The driver had to be extricated from the truck. The Reidland-Farley Fire Department said that extrication took a little over an hour.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies and the McCracken County Rescue Squad worked the crash, as well, and directed traffic around the area.
