A second juvenile has been charged in connection with the July 13th murder of a 17-year-old.

Paducah Police said on Friday that a 15-year-old male had been taken into custody related to the continuing investigation. Investigators had served several search warrants and conducted more interviews over the last week, and the information led to the new charges and arrest. They believe the 15-year-old was a key figure in the case.

The 15-year-old was picked up Thursday afternoon and charged with complicity to murder. He was booked into the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.

Police have already charged a 14-year-old in the case. Investigators said the 14-year-old male is accused of pulling the trigger. He was arrested on Tuesday, July 14th. Detectives believe an argument led to the firing of a handgun, which resulted in the death of the 17-year-old.
