A Saturday afternoon hit-and-run crash resulted in minor injuries for one person and a trip to jail for another.

Caldwell County Sheriff's deputies arrested 33-year-old Jeffrey Leonard of Hopkinsville after locating him and his vehicle. Leonard is accused of leaving the scene of a crash around 3:30 p.m. on Sandlick Road. According to the report, deputies believe the vehicle driven by Leonard crossed the center line and struck another vehicle driven by 24-year-old Bryan Lewis of Princeton.

Lewis was treated at the scene by EMS. No one else was injured in the collision.

Leonard was charged with leaving the scene of an accident-failure to render aid, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and having no insurance or registration.

Leonard was taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
