Region 1 Sports Report named one of the nation's top high school sports podcasts

The Region 1 Sports Report has been named one of the nation's top 100 high school sports podcasts.

Million Podcasts, an industry insider publication and website, recently released its rankings of the Top 100 High School Athletes Podcasts of 2025, ranking the Region 1 Sports Report 11th on the list. 

It was one of only two shows on the list from the state of Kentucky. The 12th Region Sports Podcast was ranked 45th. 

The Region 1 Sports Report was started in 2018 with a mission to cover high school sports in the First Region and highlight the area's great student athletes. 

Co-created and hosted by Brian York, the show is now in its seventh year with new episodes coming out each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
