A reckless driver who did donuts on Hinkleville Road on Wednesday morning has been identified and arrested.
Paducah Police said they received multiple 911 calls around 7 a.m. about a driver along I-24 who allegedly cut off other drivers and had his hazard lights on. A vehicle matching that same description was reported to have turned donuts in the intersection of Hinkleville and New Holt Roads, as well. Officers used the Flock Camera System and spotted the car at a gas station on Park Avenue.
Police caught up to and identified the driver as 25-year-old Austin Sporea. He was arrested and charged with reckless driving and disorderly conduct after what was described as a disturbance when approached by police.
Video of the initial incident was shared widely on social media.
