Public meeting set for Ledbetter US 60 improvements

A public meeting has been scheduled to update Ledbetter residents on US 60 improvements.

The public meeting is scheduled for June 27 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Drake Creek Golf Course Clubhouse.

Transportation officials said the project design team will present some new alternates, as well as previously presented proposals for public comment.

The project runs from Lakeview Drive at the east end of the Ledbetter Bridge to near the Gillahan Road and Ferren Road intersection, about 3.5 miles.

A form will be provided to participants to make it easier to provide comments.
