Pryorsburg man dies in traffic accident

A Pryorsburg man died in a Wednesday traffic accident. 

Just before noon, Graves County Sheriff's deputies  were dispatched to the 800 block of St Rt 58 west for a vehicle off the road down a steep embankment.

Upon arrival and through investigation, it was determined 55-year-old Floyd Odell Luckey of Pryorsburg, was traveling east on St Rt 58 West when for reasons unknown, he ran off of the roadway across the oncoming lane and into a large creek bed.

A passerby located the vehicle and assisted in getting Luckey from the vehicle as he was unconscious while emergency responders were arriving on scene.

Luckey was pronounced deceased on scene by the Graves County Coroners Office.
