A Princeton man was arrested Tuesday after attempting to dispose of contraband while being processed at the Caldwell County Jail.

WPKY reported Princeton Police as saying they arrested 46-year-old Jonathan Hubbard just after 11:45 am.  While being processed at the jail, a deputy jailer saw Hubbard drop a baggie on the floor.

The baggie contained a white, crystalline substance and after being picked up from the floor, Hubbard tried to dispose of it in his mouth before spitting it out.

Hubbard was arrested on charges of tampering with physical evidence and promoting contraband.
