Police seek suspect who fled Smithland armed robbery

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday night in Smithland.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, the robbery took place around 8 p.m. at L&K Foods on Cutoff Road.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot, and was not located as of Friday night.

Residents in the area were urged to lock their doors and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement at 270-928-2196.
