Phone scam alerts reported in Calloway, Caldwell counties

Authorities in two area counties are reporting phone scam alerts.

The Calloway and Caldwell County Sheriff's Offices say residents in both places are receiving phone calls regarding jury duty.  The Calloway County Sheriff's Office reports some callers are being asked to submit money.

Residents who receive these calls are encouraged to hang up immediately.
