Paducah police host 14th annual awards ceremony

Paducah police honored their own as well as some local citizens during their 14th annual awards ceremony Thursday night at Walker Hall.

Paducah Police Chief Brian Laird said the event is a way to show recognition to officers and citizens alike.

A number of officers received service commendations and life saving awards among categories honored .  Nine citizzens also received Citizen Service Awards.
