Paducah woman treated following traffic accident

A Paducah woman was taken to an area hospital following a Saturday afternoon traffic accident in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said the accident occured around 3:55 pm on KY 408 when a westbound vehicle driven by 65-year-old Vickie Morgan for unknown reasons left the roadway on the north side and ran into a ditch.

Morgan struck two culverts before coming to rest. She was removed from her vehicle by first responders and transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of possible injuries.

The investigation into the accident is continuing.
